Bienvenido Cartagena de Indias! This picturesque colonial city on the Caribbean Sea is rich in culture, architecture, and romance. Upon arrival at Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG) you will transfer to your deluxe boutique accommodations. After you unpack and unwind, we’ll officially kick-off our Cartagena experience with a meet and greet. Once we become acquainted, we’ll head on a cultural city walking tour through Cartagena’s old town which is literally like an outdoor museum. Our night will end with a welcome dinner at one of the finest local restaurants in the walled city.
Rise and shine! After breakfast, grab your bathing suit, sunscreen and lets roll! Today we’re heading out bright and early to sail the Caribbean Seas to the Rosario Islands baby! The day will be spent snorkeling in amazing coral reefs, watching for spectacular marine life on the bright turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Enjoy an unforgettable “Day in Paradise”. We will dock on one of the islands for a delectable meal while kicking back on the platinum sands of the Rosario Islands.

Time to get down and dirty! Today we will experience Cartagena’s famed mud bath on top of the world’s smallest volcano, Volcan de Lodo El Totumo. Enjoy the healing properties of the mineral-infused mud. Let’s get cleaned up and go to enjoy a delicious lunch before heading to one of Cartagena’s most interesting phenomenons, the pink sea. Salinas of Galerazamba is a beautiful and colorful pink sea, located between Cartagena and Barranquilla.

After a fulfilling breakfast, the day is yours! You can relax and enjoy the hotel amenities, or jump into action on a self-guided walking tour. You’ll have a full day to wander the narrow, winding streets of the inner-walled city. Discover the rich history and beautiful landscapes of Cartagena. We’ll hook you up with some awesome recommendations for however you’d like to spend your time.
Carpe Diem! Today we will visit San Basilio de Palenque, a town founded by slaves who fled the city of Cartagena de Indias in the 16th century and were released. San Basilio de Palenque was declared Cultural and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2005. Palenque has a fascinating history where many styles of Afro-Colombian music and dance originate.
Get your taste buds ready for an intimate Colombian cooking class. This is a hands-on class perfect for everyone from novice to cooking enthusiast. You’ll get instruction on plating, food presentation and cheffing techniques that will enhance your culinary repertoire together with introducing savory Caribbean flavors.
